the Ancient Theater of Taormina
There is a story of love, passion and jealousy. There is Carmen, the cigar maker. And there is don Josè, a young brigadier who is seduced by Carmen. There is another woman, Micaela, who would like to become Jose's wife, also because of the will of his mother who is about to die.
The mezzo-soprano, Sanja Anastasia, will give life to the character of Carmen, Don José will be played by the tenor Dario Di Vietri, directed by Antonio De Lucia. The orchestra of the "Taormina Opera Stars" will be directed, once again, after the success of Tosca last year, by Maestro Gianna Fratta. The "Taormina Opera Stars" Choir directed by Maestro Carmelo Pappalardo. Davide Dellisanti artistic director.
